EasterTide

The Barrington Presbyterian Church is a small, family-oriented church with a long tradition of preaching the Gospel and providing Christian education for children and adults.  A strong music program and choir are part of this nurturing congregation that serves the East Bay area of Rhode Island & Massachusetts.

Rev. Joe Miller, Supply Pastor

Pastor Joe is a close friend of Barrington Presbyterian and is providing us supply pastorship following Pastor Peg's calling to a new interim pastor assignment.
Joe's wife Hannah is working with our Christian Nurture committee as we plan for Church school changes.

We're most grateful to have Pastor Joe and Hannah ministering to us during our search and transition to a new full time pastor.

Worship
From September through June worship is held at 11:00 am on Sundays. During the Summer, the service is at 10:00 am .  Our service lasts approximately one hour. Communion is served on the 1st Sunday of each month.

Like to sing? The church has an active choir that rehearses from 9:15 to 10:30 on Sunday mornings from September through June.  New voices are always welcome!

Church School
for children ages 3 through grade 6 is offered year-round during the worship service.  We're starting a new Church School section on Sundays at 9:30 for kids 10 and up. Contact church office for more information. Nursery care is provided for children up to age 3 during the worship service.

Bible Study
is offered during the school year from 9:45 to 10:45 am.  This well-attended group study is focusing on the book of Acts during 2005-2006.

Mission & Outreach
programs include Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, "Men Who Cook" Fat Tuesday fundraiser for Tap-In & EastBay Coalition for the Homeless,

Special programs
include Bible Studies, Church-wide retreats, and Junior and Senior High events & trips.
